Printers
3D printing has been around for a while now. They started out as large expensive machines. Since 3D printers started coming down in price, more schools have investing in them. There are several manufacturers to choose from as more companies get into the printer race. Each printer is a little different in how it prints and the type of filament it uses. There are printers that have moving bases and some that have moving extruder heads. Some printers have metal frames that make them a better candidate to be portable. The most important thing to do is ask others what printer they have and ask about their experience.
